ʻOhana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind — or forgotten.
When working in the back of the house you learn real quick that the people you work with automatically become a part of your extended family,it’s real close,it’s hot,it burns and you learn to love/hate everyone around you… We love all our extended families from Maui to Manhattan we appreciate your continued support in our vision to make BackoftheHouseCrew a mainstay in every kitchen worldwide….86crew forever….

This is just a little teaser from our photo shoot from the last day of the season party at the old historic bar in telluride…. stick with us,we got more gear and pictures in the works….thanks BOH 86crew
off-season is upon us… and while some of us take this time to reflect and some of us stay working gigs while the main gig is on hold, others take this time to travel the world and either visit family or just relax in a remote location and think about upcoming work duties as in new menus to new hires and what the upcoming season will bring….and sometimes its just nice to sit around with a beer in hand and not think at all….. “what is off-season? you ask?” its just a little something I like to call heaven…since we live in a resort area we have seasonal employment which means for 6 weeks in the spring and 6 weeks in the fall there is no work,so for 12 weeks a year we get a paid mandatory vacation time…”paid?”you ask?….guess you’ll just have to make the leap away from one of the coasts and find out for yourself….. I don’t think I could live anywhere that doesn’t have off-seasons ever again
